"The Hobbit Tavern on Boracay is an absolute gem — or should I say, precious! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into a cozy Middle-earth-style tavern filled with warm acoustic music, friendly faces, and that classic rustic charm. The service is truly amazing — the staff are attentive, cheerful, and make you feel like an honored guest in the Shire itself. The stew is hearty and comforting (fit for a hobbit’s feast!), the mac n’ cheese is rich and irresistibly creamy, and the D’shire Burger is a quest-worthy masterpiece — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach, with an atmosphere that makes you want to stay for “just one more pint.” Whether you’re a Lord of the Rings fan or simply love great food, live music, and top-notch service — The Hobbit Tavern is a must-visit in Boracay. One does not simply eat here once!"

"This restaurant offers a good environment and is enjoyable to visit. The service was satisfactory, and the staff was cheerful. We received our dinner as quickly as possible in all of the eateries we visited in Boracay. The wait wasn't too long. And when the dinner arrived, it was quite flavourful and excellent. I wholeheartedly suggest this place."

"I came in hesitant and thought it was just a gimmicky restaurant but I personally think it was the best food i had during our stay in bora. Our server (he didn’t disclose his name) had been so accommodating and even helped out with the orders and recommendations since the set menu wasn’t available at the time. He made sure we had the best deal with what we were going to spend and everything he recommended tasted amazing! He was funny, attentive and entertaining as well. He was also patient with taking the time to sort out our orders since we were a party of 11 people which i truly appreciated. He said that they only use real stocks fortheir dishes (beef, fish, vegetables) and they don’t rely on msgs and you can tell because the flavors were very good! Overall a fantastic experience and i will definitely come back again when i have the chance. Thank you!"

"The Hobbit Tavern is one of those rare little spots that gets under your skin in the best possible way. From the moment you step through the door, you’re wrapped in warmth — friendly staff who genuinely seem happy you’re there, a cosy atmosphere that feels like stumbling into a tucked-away corner of the Shire, and that lovely bustle that only a well-loved place has. There’s a real charm to it… a proper bosst for little people like me who enjoy somewhere with personality rather than polish. Every detail feels thought-out, playful, and welcoming. It’s the sort of place where you settle in for one drink and suddenly realise you’ve made yourself at home without even meaning to. I enjoyed it so much I ended up buying a T-shirt on the way out — the universal sign that a place has well and truly won you over. A fantastic, friendly, character-filled tavern that I’ll happily return to again and agai"

"A wonderful experience! Besides the theme, the food was delicious. We had pork liempo and katsu curry. The drinks were nice too and our waiter Deserie was cute and attentive. Definitely worth a stop."

"Funny restaurant, one of the "you should visit if you are here" locations. Food is rock solid, even if it is not the absolute top one fancy dining at Boracay. You will not regret it if you eat here. And you can enjoy a lot of classic paintings around you. We ha lunch here, the "background" music (live guitar) was much too loud for this. We enjoyed the break more than the play. Forget the cappuccino, it is only water with some creamer and sugar, waste of money."
